Beginner Ballet

Beginner Ballet offers formal ballet training appropriate to children aged 6 years to enjoy and explore creativity.  Students continue developing correct posture and alignment promoting safe dance techniques and strength for growing & developing bodies with a strong emphasis coordination, creative and musicality. Students attend one ballet class a week. Classical ballet is the backbone of all dance genres. It is highly recommended to study classical ballet alongside additional classes.

Fees

Fees  $16.00 per class ($160 per 10 week term)
*Unlimited class package for students attending multiple classes per week $640 per 10 week term
Accounts are issued at the commencement of each term with payment in full expected 30 days from invoice
Fees can be paid in cash, EFTPOS and internet banking.
Payment plans are available via Direct Debit
All fees are GST inclusive. Fees are non-refundable.

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE – $30 PER CHILD OR $50 PER FAMILY

Frequently asked questions?

Is there the option of a TRIAL class before I enrol?
Yes absolutely, students are welcome to trial classes in different styles prior to enrolling, subject to availability.

Can I watch my child in their class?
Our Beginner Ballet classes are an independent class, parents do not enter the studio with the children.

Do students from the Beginner ballet class perform in the end of year showcase?
Yes.  All students have the opportunity to participate in our end of year Junior showcase including our Beginner students, held at the West Gippsland Arts Centre held Saturday 14th December.

Do I need to make or buy a costume?
No, costumes for our end of year showcase are hired to you, approximately $30 per costume.

Can my child participate in dance eisteddfods and competitions?
Yes, our beginner ballet students have the opportunity to be part of our performance teams in 2024. We perform/compete 3 times a year in various competitions and is a positive experience and lots of fun.
Students participating in our performance teams rehearse once a week. Students may also be invited to participate in solo’s.
