Carla has danced since age 4 and has 34 years teaching experience in all styles of dancing. Carla has worked professionally in theatre restaurants and various shows in Melbourne and Sydney including fashion parades and the AFL Footy show. She holds Associate and Members Certificates with the Dance Factory Teaching Academy. Carla is also an Affiliate member with the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) and successfully prepares her students for Jazz examinations, and State and Australasian Scholarship Awards.

In 2020, Carla became a Certified teacher in the popular Ready Set Dance program and is thrilled to share this exciting program with our pre-school students. Her choreography and teaching experience includes dance concerts and shows, fashion parades and hair shows, summer schools, universities, primary and secondary schools. She also prepares students for local, state and interstate eisteddfods.

Many of Carla’s students have continued on to fulltime training at Minsitry of Dance, Industry Dance Melbourne, Dance Factory and WAAPA, just to name a few, with successful career outcomes on Cruise Liners, Tokyo Disney and many theatre production companies – both nationally and internationally.

Carla is known for her high-energy and passion for dance. Although she specializes in Jazz, she is also highly trained in Ballet, Tap and styles of theatrical dancing. She enjoys sharing her passion with all of her students at KC’s School of Dance and looks forward to inspiring them to continually strive to be the best they can be.
