From ‘Fred Astaire’ to the ‘Tap Dogs’, Tap dancing is a fun energetic dance style that can be heard by all. Learning the art of Tap dancing encourages good use of rhythm and clarity and can be quite challenging and often strenuous style of dance.  Students also have the opportunity to study the Glen Wood Tap syllabus in this class. Tap dancing is great for fitness for all ages and abilities.

TUESDAY 4.00-4.30pm

Fees

Fees  $14.00 per class ($140 per 10 week term)
Accounts are issued at the commencement of each term with payment in full expected 30 days from invoice
Fees can be paid in cash, EFTPOS and internet banking.
Payment plans are available via Direct Debit
All fees are GST inclusive. Fees are non-refundable.

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE – $30 PER CHILD OR $50 PER FAMILY

Frequently asked questions?

Is there the option of a TRIAL class before I enrol?
Yes absolutely, students are welcome to trial classes in different styles prior to enrolling, subject to availability.

Can I watch my child in their class?
Our recreational program classes are independent classes, parents do not enter the studio with the children.

Do students from the Recreational program classes perform in the end of year showcase?
Yes.  All students have the opportunity to participate in our end of year Junior showcase including our Recreational students, held at the West Gippsland Arts Centre held Saturday 14th December 2024.

Do I need to make or buy a costume?
No, all costumes for our end of year showcase are hired to you, approximately $30 per costume.

Can my child participate in dance eisteddfods and competitions?
Yes, recreational students often have the opportunity to be part of our performance teams, however they must be participating in ballet class, also is dependant on interest from year to year. Students may also be invited to participate in solo’s.
