Certificate IV Dance Training & Management, Dip of Musical Theatre

Katie trained at KC’s School of Dance from the age of 6. During her time at KC’s, she competed in all styles of dance at dance festivals and sat her examinations in Cecchetti Ballet, Ballet Conservatoire, Australian Teachers of Dancing for Jazz and Glenn Wood Tap. Whilst dancing at KC’s, Katie also took part in Scimm, a youth contemporary dance company run by Tim Barnes and Scott Pokorny, during 2017 and 2018 to further her dance skills and experience. Katie also competed in the Australian Teachers of Dancing State and Australasian Scholarships, placing 4th in their Interstate competition in Brisbane. In 2021 Katie completed her Diploma of Musical Theatre and her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management through the full-time Musical Theatre course at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance. Katie cannot wait to share her love and passion for her dance and is excited to be on board with KC’s family.
